The film “Mugwump” is inspired and contextually relevant to David Lynch’s Twin Peaks by the revealing of dark subjects underneath a veil of innocence in the narrative. Stylistically it juxtaposes psychological horror genre tropes alongside camp and melodrama, much as Twin Peaks does. In the story of “Mugwump” the father is revealed as a monster in the child’s subconscious as he innocently laments the separation that has occurred between them
